Default Mini CP pitch issue

I am new to rc helicopters. I recently bought a Mini CP and have been flying it without issues for about 3 weeks. Recently, however, it randomly climbs upwards without me giving it positive pitch. It just jumps up and keeps gaining altitude. The only way to stop this is for me to give it very little throttle so that it loses its lift and drifts downwards. It happens randomly and is very annoying. I have also noticed that the motor bogs down a bit when this happens.

Like I said, it happens randomly. I would be flying it like normal (no 3D) and it would suddenly rocket into the sky. I almost do not want to fly it anymore until this issue is fixed because it is very difficult to control it when this happens, usually resulting in a hard landing in the grass.

Default Maybe it's your pitch curve?

Try going into your pitch curve settings and using these values:

L: 35
M: 65
H: 100

The points in between put "Inhibit"

These settings worked for me but you can play around with the values to suit your type of flying. The lower your "L" point is, the higher you will have to push your throttle before it lifts. But when it does lift, that sucker will shoot up fast and keep going. The settings above should have it hovering at mid stick.
