What I have found on at least 2 bouts of tail wag was a split main shaft that I didn't find until I took it out & took the head and collar off. Just my $.02 Andy

The first post was quite helpful, thx. I lowered the gain on the tail and took a lot of the tail wag out on the next flight. So nice knowing that I can change the gain, huge help!!!

The board needs to see 100% throttle when first plugged in. Make sure your TX is outputting 100% at full stick travel. Easy way to ensure 100% throttle signal would be to set your IU curve to flat 100% and then start up your heli while your TX is set to IU with TH OFF.

I'm surprised you haven't asked this on RCG yet!

Finally got around to doing this today and WOW what a difference!

I've been struggling with a jittery tail from day one. I lowered the rudder gain 2 steps as a starting point and noticed an immediate difference. Its smooth as silk now and got to fly it around my living room for the first time. I've always treated my 130 as outdoor only since it is so twitchy but I now feel comfy enough indoors for simple hover practice.

it doesn't seem to be having much effect but I will keep on going, there is a bit of a tail wag in it

Watch this video, see if it helps.
Blade 130 x Gyro Gain Programming (3 min 39 sec)

If that video doesn't do it for you, check out some of the other Youtube videos and see if you can find help. I personally have not messed with my 130 in over a year. I've probably forgot anything that might help you.

Ok got it. Took a little trial and error. On a gen 2 DX-6, turn the tx on, then move the throttle to 100% value. You may have to adjust your throttle curve to achieve this. Do it temporarily then reset to your liking after gyro adjustment. Next, power the helicopter. The bird will go into a series of bleeps and blue LEDs. This is good. After a few seconds (5) the gyro programming mode will be available. scroll to the first post to set values.

Might try increasing throttle travel to 110 or higher and see if that helps. When your done programming you can put it back to 100.

I have a DX6 G3. To get my 130X into gyro program mode, I leave throttle hold off when I plug the flight battery into the helicopter.

Viola! Gyro program mode unlocked!

For getting into the Gyro programme mode I have kept an old Dx6i for this purpose alone. It never fails. I used to have all sorts of trouble with my main radio the Dx9. These are about $50 at most and are still good old radios.
