Maybe stick with orange then. I flew today and saw the orange tail fin pretty well. Also on a side note for the canopy, the see thru blue was pretty easy to identify nose in.

Yellow tail blades is a close second, but on a sunny day I bet it washes it out. I may need to buy both colors, and see either way, haha

I have been battling colors. bring green was ok in winter till the leaves started coming out. not great but not bad. orange in a sunset can dissapear too. Green was ok on the tail blades and fin on the 300x but it was always upright and that helped.blue can work if it is not too gloomy.

Orange is my definitely my favorite color for visibility.mI have bad vision at a distance and couldn't fly my small helis without it, and have orange tail fins and blades on my 450 and 500. I would avoid flying against a sunset like was mentioned above, but my flying spot happens to be opposite of the sunset so I don't worry about it.

I outlined a mcpx goblin paper canopy template, resized and streched it a little and made a couple more changes then started drawing. once i printed it and it was put together i just cut in a little around the main gear. Pluse what really helped was using photo paper and laminating it. I also have the tail section done just need to do a few changes on it.

Default Canopy Option

I painted a canopy for a customer's Esky Honey Bee. Just for fun I wanted to see if it fit the 300. Sure enough it does. Here is what it looks like. It doesn't cover the motor as much as the stock canopy. This would be an alternative canopy for anyone looking for a different option. Of course it would take some paint to cover the Esky logos....

That's pretty cool... I like the lines of that canopy better than the stock one... I've never been a fan of the blunt looking nose on the stock canopy...
