Default How many Brownouts/Glitches with Spectrum

Same idea as last poll but isolated to those flying a T500 with a spectrum receiver. Please include which receiver you are running with and any other pertinent info. Please don't vote if you don't use a Spectrum receiver.

No brownouts w/AR7000, but glitch city. Fixed with a Jazz before I heard about grounding the motor to frame-haven't bothered to put the stocker back in to see if that will do the trick.

Default 6200 Problems

Have had 3 brownouts now, 2 AFTER grouning the motor mount to frame to ESC neg.
I sprayed the tail belt with silicone yesterday and hovered 2 packs with no problems.
I live in a very dry climate so I am thinking that static may be my problem. I am going to ground the boom as well, and shafts and bearings, etc if the problem persists.

Yep, Colorado ought to be the first to get torque tubes. It's so dry here if you don't barbecue your steak the second it hits the grill in 10 minutes you've got jerky.

I was using a 6200 and lost control resulting in a crash. Changed to 7000, grounded frame and tail boom/pulleys, and so far no more problems. Personally, I think it's a static problem from the tail. I bet when the torque tube gets installed the problems go away for people. I've personally had problems with a Raptor 50 and belt static. Cured the Raptor problem by moving the tail servo up to the front instead of the boom where the static couldn't jump from the boom to the tail servo.

24 votes cast and 30% having problems. Please cast your votes so we can get a good percentage. If it holds at this rate, this definately can NOT be described as a small percentage. 30% is really significant!
