Your series board will work...it's just more complicated

Use 11.1v @.4 amps and plug in the balance lead

Sorry for my ignorance....
Is it a bad idea to do a balance charge with these? Since there is no option to balance them at 180 exactly and exactly 3.7. When I charged them the charger wasn't even charging at 11.1 like I specified. It was at 12.4?
I charged at .2 @ 11.1 and checked the volts and they were at 4.18...

Again I'm sorry that I'm so stupid lol I just want to make sure I'm not screwing up these brand new batteries.

Does anyone have this charger and use it with batteries for the nano? I just looked on YouTube again and the only vids I could find are ones where they are charging 5 and 6 cell batteries.

I want to cycle the batteries but I don't want to compromise the batteries anymore than I have too. Worse comes to worse I will use the stock nano charger until I figure this thing out.

Using the series cable you have is not hurting at all...

It gets 11.1v from the charger and splits it into 3 - 3.7v parts

That's why I recommended the parallel cable...it cannot exceed 3.7v volts and doesn't care how many batteries you have attached

Yeah but it is exceeding 11.1 it's charging at 12.4? Here is a pic I'll take really quick.

3S will max out at 12.6V.

A LiPo, fully charged, is 4.2V. Times 3 cells in series is 12.6V.

They sometimes refer to the nominal voltage of 3.7V/cell, or 11.1V. But that is still 3S.

Charge it like I posted and you will be fine. 3S, Balance Charge (!), with the balance lead connected, at 0.2A if you want 1C.

Ok will do...truly thank you for the help....

Balance charge .2 @ 11.1....check.

It seems flying them at 90% power for 3 minutes discharges them to 3.87v so I'm going to just do that until they get wore in.

I originally quoted the common sense board that allows charging six nano or mcpx batteries...that comparison made the charge harness cheaper
