Default Autorotation in Clearview

How realistic is autorotaion in Clearview? I have been playing around with killing the engine lately and attempting to land. Just curious.....

About average.

  • If you blade stall, they will not restart (even if you do the right things).
  • If you overspeed, it does not recognize.
  • Tail authority goes at lowish head speeds (which does not happen IRL).
  • 700N size is a lot more floaty than my 700E DFC IRL.
  • Does not seem to flare properly.
In short. it will teach you the right habits, but most other sims (Pheonix, RF, Heli-X), seem to do a better job of it.

Then again, there is never any substitute for the real thing.
