Default imax charger

hi all
soo after some resurch it turns out my new planes charger is desighned to work off a 12 v battery or buy a wall outlet cable first thing i figgured is to just buy two 6v square tourch batterys wre em up and they will happily charge a small 200ma lipo antill i order the wall charger cable shortly

second thort is just go round the courner and buy a second hand computer psu and a few mins mod i have my own 12v 500w psu, which i will dump the psu that came with my imax charger

then i figgured im happy with the psu my imax came with as im no hurry as i use a max 3 cell 2800 lipo..then i wondered could the imax its self be use to deliver the 12v to the plane charger, it can pritty much charge anything as long as you know its v an amp and chemical makeup.. i havnt had time to play yet but was wondering if you guys knew

cheers
antony

Will the PSU for the Imax not work as the PSU for the small plane charger?

Why not charge the battery with the iMax? It should be able to charge 200ma Lipo batt.
iMax PS basically is a notebook adapter. I used to use notebook adapter, min 5A to use on my iCharger charger. In here cost around $15.
