Aw Raf, good call, I forgot Mikado and RJX.

Matt, it's beauty to my eyes, you should see my table during a build/rebuild/maintenance run.

just an update. I hate trying to make the wires pretty on a V2 450. It just plain sucks. I'm about to cut some thin black plastic and close in the frame so you cant see whats in it. I mean look at the kitchen table. The wifes beside herself seeing how theres a perfect hobby room in the basement for me to do it in.

Whats wrong with that for a kitchen table ???

Looks perfectly normal to me - don't all kitchen tables look like this ???

YES! I wasn't going to say anything but Your little french toy will end up in my Henseleit's Concentration camp, precision and excellence wise. Porsche and Henseleit.. There are no substitutes! And if there is a substitute, its the Logo.. Made from German engineering as well. Same material as a Glock hand gun.

Feel better, I'm writing you from a keyboard leaning against those same parts..Its the way of the copter.. And FYI, I went to bed yesterday and woke today to the same woman's voice bitching about how I dont own the whole house.. How I have stuff in 3 different places.. OH Well. I tell her to go count shoes, leave me alone and go listen for the UPS guy in case he has parts to deliver.

Ok here it is with the servos, gyro, and RX. This wire cutting is nerve racking. The gyro was the worse. Its hard to take a GY 401 and cut the wire to about 2 inches long.

That's the tightest cleanest wiring job I've seen Matt, awesome work.

What medication were you on when you did that? I'd need double the dosage I think. LOL

Thanks guys. I'm done with it now. Still need to set up the head, Put on the tail servo, and balance the tail blades, because the 15t pinion is turning them wicked fast. starts vibrating pretty hard core at 100%. Smooth as glass though all the way till about 90%.

Mike I needed medication. Every now and again a screwdrive took flight. The soldering iron fell off its perch and rolled into a wadded up paper towel which prompty caught on fire. Its been a maddening two days. The wife and kids tried to steer clear of the kitchen because I was a ticking bomb. Its over now though

That's the smart way Matt. In a crash, if you cut the servo wire, you are likely to pull the wire right out the back of your servo.

That's why there's a lock on my shop door. It's not for keeping thieves out, it's to protect others from me when I'm having one of those days

LOL I think we all have those days, so it seems?

Matt, I had the soldiering iron do that to me 5 times, once on the carpet, others on the table... UGH!!!... The lady flipped out at me... I just replied "hey, I bought the carpet and table, so float!".

Looks great

It looks Great Man. I hope you enjoy it and I hope that it flies! Your luck hasn't been good my friend. Triple check that all the servos work before you go. Gyro going in the right direction.. Battery charged. Etc Etc Etc.

I will wait to see it on YouTube.
