Have you already bound your satellites using a normal receiver?

Do you have the FBL only plugged into USB or do you have it powered separately?

From what I have read, the G31 is not capable of binding the satellites. They must be bound using a normal receiver first and then plugged into the SRX cable.

Even though the G31 itself can be powered through USB, you must also provide power to output bus for the satellite. The power through USB will not power it up. You can either use a standalone BEC or through one integrated into an ESC or you can use a NiMH battery pack. It must also be providing power to the correct power bus for either the SRX1 or SRX2 connection you are using.

You basically are going to have to supply power to the g31 through 2 different ports for Sbus I power the servo side \ g31 through the Srx adapter with power originating at the rx unit. The tail is powered by connecting the other lead of my rx life battery to Srx 2 directly. Not sure if you can supply power through the DSM port on the SRX adapter though.
You might want to see if you can supply power by connecting the normal servo side plug of the adapter to your power source

If anyone who has theirs fully functioning would be kind enough to do a diagram and post it? May help make more sense? A full Rx diagram, single and dual sat would be awesome.
I'd do mine but it hasn't shipped yet.

Looked through the downloaded manual, yes. Actual install pics are what Im going for.
Ill be using a Rx+sat, powering via bec. I assume I can just manage all that the same way I done with the zyx (ie: pulling the + lead from the esc plug and replacing it with the + from my bec), shouldnt run into any power issues with the Robird? I know it has 3 separate power buses, but I assume they will all just draw from the jumper wire from the Rx..and no need for a separate power source like with the sat only config?

tunner777,

In setup guide in step0 Receiver what did you select under receiver, PWM, SBUS, DSM1024, or DSM2048?

If useing Spektrum Sat. Rx. you should select DSM1024 or DSM2048

Instead of driving 3 cyclic servos thru the SRx adapter getting power from the rx, it is better to relocate the rx power to the G31 motor port. In this case G31 will power the rx and 1 throttle servo, putting less amp on the single cable of the adapter this way.
