I guess alot of people do. I just charge and fly...check motor/ESC/batt. temps with my finger...when the batt gets weak I replace it....that's about it.

Hey I have been through $3500.00worth of batteries, since I started this deal, that is a fair chunk of change! And I know what works and what does not now because of keeping track of them Now I have just under $600.00 worth of batteries that I can fly all day with and never fire up a nitro, if I want!

Don't get me wrong....I envy people that have that much time for attention to detail. I have a big box of batts and only about $300 worth (+or-) and "never" have to wait for mine to charge to be able to fly none stop (all 4 helis)....but I charge 4 at a time and could do 5....but, haven't had to.

Peace-out!

The Capi needs to realise that SNJ's time, money, and research is going to help alot of people save money in the future. If he tells us what works, and what doesnt work, ill listen. Thanks SNJ for donating POSITIVE feedback to the helifreak family.

Neither, it's 3% metric.

LOL...

Hey.. I should add that I am flying the white HD "3D Pros" on my 500ESP and Outrage 550.. both flybarless.. and I have to say am very surprised how nice they are flying!

I thought they would fly like crap with FBL...... NOT.

I can compare too.. since I put on a set of Radix on my 500 today... they DID fly quieter and seemed more precise...

But NOT that much! (Only basic sport flying)

Default 3 that I've tried, Edge coming soon

Thanks sjn and everyone for the good info, nice thread!
My experience so far on my Pro with Scorpion -8, 30 & 40C bats, and smack down hard 3D:

Stock Align - Really great all around blades, especially for my style. They look good too... I like blades with white. They aren't the most stable in FFF, but that's what you get with light, quick blades... and loads of pitch... and KBDD paddles! They also auto mediocre.

Radix Cosflaw - I did not like for my style. Maybe I got a heavier pair (don't have the weight). I've run them off and on. Seem to have slower headspeed and response than Aligns, but I've found they track very well and run efficient, using less mAh on average. I will probably sell them.

Sonix - First impression was they are very nice, very fast and poppy. I don't like all black CF, so I added flash strips on bottom and long tribal holo stickers on the top. I found they are a bit harder on my system than Aligns, using a bit more mAh and my LiPos were a bit warmer. These are great bashers for the money.

Edge FB: probably trying out this weekend.
Mavrik G5: coming with my Edge. I probably would not have ordered if I read this thread first. I probably won't like them, but got a good price.

Just tried the Thunder Power 325 CF blades yesterday (because of this thread). Wow what a difference! This 450 Pro seemed to hang ever so slightly longer and was still as quick as the stock Align blades. Just wanted to drop a quick comment.
