Hobby king , in international warehouse . They have a large selection , ranging from 8 bucks and up . The one I used is a version 2. It's not a perfect fit . The canopy goes into the bottom slot and then the ears with the grommets are pulled down to the posts . The grommets holes need to be drilled to fit .
There is some flexing of the canopy and I used a dremel to trim the canopy around the servo arms a bit and main gear on one side ....... But it's easier to put on . It looks good . It's almost half the weight . And 1/5 the cost .
I was thinking of moving the mounting posts forward . It looks like that will work possibly better . I 'll check that when I have some spare time .

So far I flew 2 battery s . In fading light so I had to be carefull . But it's very smooth .
Hovering was butter smooth . I had a v curve of 70 to 80 , thinking the head speed would be to high . But it didn't seem high . Also It's pretty quiet . Just the blades and a high gear or motor whine . But not unpleasant in anyway.
It's also on the light side of most 450s . My tarot pro , with canopy / no battery weighed in at
743 grams . The forza with the stock canopy was 685 . With the pro canopy it was 669.
That's with kst 215 , or turnigy 306 cyclics on both . The pro has the jr 3500 for the tail (years now) . And the forza , I screwed up and oversized with a kst 515 . So some weight difference there . The forza has the yep 40a , and the pro has a hobby wing 40a and 5 amp separate bec .

Thanks. I just finished my build from the combo kit. I don't like the skinny canopy either. Compared to my fbl sport, this Forza has a lot more snap and pop. I look forward to getting to the field. Reid.

A little up date Reid . I just moved the mounting posts upward , so they are now about 3/16 an inch or so directly below the rear of the anti rotation bracket . This location makes less flex on the canopy , and quite easy to install . Plus more room for battery thickness .
At 10 bucks the canopy quality is not as rigid as the forzas . But hey , you can get 5 of them , for the same amount ,and mix up the pant scheme too !
