it is not hard....set it up as a 90 degree swash.....the 2 servo control is easy to setup...and then normal gyro setup....you don't need any throttle curves..staright linear is perfect...and no pitch curves of any kind of course...

which receiver are you using for the heli to bind with the dx6i? i do not know about the king, but with the Bee's using the cp3 3 in 1 and either the orange rx or the spektrum rx... they would not work with the throttle plugged in to the throttle slot of the rx. it may be different with the gyro you are using, but if you run in to trouble getting the throttle to work, plug the throttle cable in to the aux slot of the rx and set up your linear curve for throttle control in the pitch channel of the dx6i. hopefully... yours worked in the throttle slot .

the king 2 is a belt driven tall...it is a CP heli in it's original form...and requires a seperate tail servo and gyro as a CP heli....so you can't/shouldn't use a 3 in 1 on it...really not the best way...best is to setup the heli with a 90 degree swash and a straight linear curve for the throttle.....if you used a rate gyro only you don't even have to use any Heli mix...even a straight airplane mix for the 2 servos would work....
