...A lot of Gaui flyers, including myself, use T Rex 600 LG...super tough and a whole lot more stable.
Zip tie them on as break away on really hard landings to save your frames...

I use plastic bolts and nuts to attach my skids. They hold much better than zip ties, but will still save the frame in a hard crash. Sometimes, zip ties will let go even in a minor hard landing, causing the skids to come off and the tip-over damage can be even worse than if it just bounced hard on the LG. Just my 3 cents......

I use that TRex 600 LG as well, BUT keep in mind that 3x LG are on the market:

- the "normal" one: a liitle "week" http://helidirect.com/advanced_searc...0038&x=20&y=16

- the new one: stiffer and a little lower http://helidirect.com/align-new-land...00n-p-2823.hdx

- the F3C-version: again a little lower http://helidirect.com/advanced_searc...H70060&x=0&y=0

I prefer #3 to #2 to #1
