I have not done this, but this is a quote from an article by John Benario in the now defunct RC Modeler magazine.

"The swashplate Heim ball (spherical bearing) wears steadily and at some point needs to replaced. MAS sells that bearing but notes that it must be factory installed. Every time I read that something must be done by someone else I do my best to figure out how to do it myself. In the case of the swashplate the repair is easy. The press is used to press out the old bearing. After the Loctite residue is cleaned out a bit of heat from the heat gun allows the new bearing to be fitted in by hand. A bit of Loctite 290 is then put on the joint between the swashplate and the bearing race. If the bearing must be pressed into place be sure not to press the ball, but only on the outer race. The outer race from the removed bearing can be used as a pressing tool."

Hope this helps.
