Biggest differences would the battery, my 1300's are 210g, which gives me perfect CG unstretched, but I will struggle when I stretch, so I have some heavier packs on the way 1400mah, 258g, that should help out when stretched, but will put the weight close to 950g

Exactly, my batteries are only 175 grams, I love the way it flies at 3200 RPM at that weight, but wish I had more flight time.

Plus I had to make an extended and raised battery tray to get the CG good, and swap the 9257 on the tail for a DS95i.

A smaller tail pulley for running 2500-2700 RPM on the stretch would be nice too, I can hear the tail struggle at the lower RPM's on my setup.

Okay I know this post is old but I figured I'd add the weight of mine as well.
I'm running the 2520-1360 motor that is 20g heavier than stock.
It's 965g AUW with a 250g 5S 1800 lipo, so 715g without lipo.
I guess it's pretty heavy , I'm running 360's though so I think the disk loading shouldn't be too bad.

Let's revive the weight thread! Mine is piggy, but it has a lot of aluminum. Does anyone know what the aluminum servo frames weigh compared to plastic? I have a feeling I added a good amount of weight there. And the 20g boat anchor KST servos I run

If the battery weights on helidirect are right...I'm at 992g auw! PIG!!

That's 730grams dry, and 262grams for the Pulse 1250mah 45c

Helidirect (and Pulse web site) are wrong on the weight of the 1250 6s. It's around 220g. The Pulse 1350 is the one around 260g.

I guess mine is one of the heaviest around.
6s stretch with a scorpion 2520-1360kv, 20g servos all around and a full size receiver, oh and fairly heavy Edge 353SE

964g AUW, with a 219g Dinogy 6S 1300 65C (so 745g without lipo).

No clue how it gained 30g compared to last year, only thing I added was the X8R I believe. Blades at the time were RJX Vector 360 which are very similar in weight to the Edge 353 (around 35g each).

You're right, 220g for the battery. 952Auw

So...I crashed doing a "demo" at the last fun fly.

Decided to persue a little weight loss in order to gain a little more "power" and maybe a touch of flight time. But I don't want to sacrifice strength so I won't be doing anything crazy

In the end I'll probably end up with an xnova motor and 1400mah packs. But for now I want to test this.

First up, metal bearing blocks. 12.5g heavier than plastics. I blew out my bearings anyways.

Main shaft. I've been running solid, it's bullet proof, but heavy. 11g cut by going to stock.

I run the Lynx DFX head and tail. I thought I would go back to stock, but I really like the fuctionality of the tail, how smooth it is and easy to work on. So I'll keep it, but I could lose 8g going back to plastic. I was ready to swap the head back to stock, weighed it all up...Lynx DFC head is .5 gram lighter...so it can stay too.

Deleted the horizontal fin. Nets me about 3.5g loss there.

Already running a talon 35, and I don't really think there's a lighter esc worth running for me.

Last thing on my list is the servos. The ds95i is here to stay. It may be a boat anchor but it's a fantastic servo. The KST on cyclic are great. I don't want to lose the performance, but I do want to shed some weight. So what to use? Well let's ignore anything with plastic gears. And we want to keep nearly the performance at 5.5v:
KST: 3.1kg/0.06s at 20.5g each
DS92A+: 2.95kg/0.058s at 17.5g each
H3050: 2.6kg/0.053s at 13g each

The spektrums are a great balance of specs, price and weight. And will get me another 20grams of weight loss. Also, they seem to be working great on the 360cfx.

Total so far: ~47 grams

The last thing in on list is to grab a set of 350mm blades. Should take some load off the motor, both disk area and rotating mass. That should be another 10 grams off the AUW.

End goal is a modest 900g flying weight.
