Default Tail Wag 600SX Help

hey logo freaks
I brought a 600sx with only one test flight from a guy, but I finger out there is a little tail wag on that. After that, I purchase a new Quick UK tail rotor set, and install it but tail wag is still on.
I have tail gain 90 on vbar.
Could any one help me figer out the wrong thing?

I had to spend some time with the Quick UK tail to get it working smoothly. Even just a little resistance would make a wag. Gain had little to no effect. I gently filed the inside (the portion the brass bushing passes through), I gently sanded the sides (the part the brass bushings pass though) I very carefully used loctite, being sure not to get any in the linkage.
I've also damaged the Brass collar before too when swapping one out (the one you tighten with 7mm wrench) It was not damage that I could see, but it had resistance when sliding on the shaft - it too made a wag.

Best of luck.

Default tail wag

I had it also on the Logo 600sx.
Did a lot of work to set up the v-bar and controlling mechanical setup.
Finally I replaced the savox by a Futaba BLS 251.
No tail wag anymore.

Default Tail Wag 600SX Help

Same thing for me. I have not been able to get rid of it. But I did not tried another servo and thus, I still have the small wag while hovering. For anything else, tail is solid.

I had a similar issue with my brand new 550sx. Gyro gain helped a little but couldn't get rid of the wag. Turns out that after looking at everything over again I had the tail rotor spinning the wrong way Tail is rock solid now. Coming from a blade 450x I was under the assumption that the belt twist was clockwise.

Thank you very much for your report. I will try a swap of my savox too.
