Helping setup a Logo Exxtreme

I have a friend who just got his logo exxtreme yesterday. He has zero experience with vbar and YGE so I offered to help.

Without a program card, is there no way to put the YGE in external gov mode to be used with VBar gov?

There all setup to work togeather already.

Vbar will be doing the govenor work for the yge esc.

Yep, the YGE was pre-programmed at the factory with all of the correct settings for using with the motor which comes in the combo and for use with VBar Gov. Just plug it in and do the setup in the VBar software and you're done.

On the extreme edition yge, can the program card lead be used as a phase sensor like on the scorpion esc? Or do I need to wire in a Hyperion phase sensor?

the phase sensor is built in, just run the prog card wire to the VBar as with Scorpion.

There is a wiring diagram towards the back of the manual showing all of this.

Definitely worth looking at page 15 because there is a little adapter lead they supplied with the kit and it shows the colours of various wires and their orientation. If that's wrong the gov won't work.
