Question Head Assembly

I'm upgrading my X400 to the aluminum bits (center hub, washout set, rotor head). I see the MX450 manual shows some good views. I purchased the aluminum center hub /w bearings. Where do those bearings go because on the exploded view for that it only shows the o-rings and spindle bushing going into each side of the center hub.

Am I missing something here?

The bearings are for where the seesaw mounts to the hub. On the stock setup there is a screw that attaches to the plastic seesaw through brass bushings..

There seems to be a massive lack of documentation associated with this heli which I only recently discovered when I did the CCPM upgrade. Either that or there is a depository of information out there that I haven't stumbled upon.

I had the same question as you and couldn't find any info anywhere about the bearing hub. Aside from the 450 manual, there isn't much info out there. I keep seeing references toward the trex too.

What about these washers right here? They don't show up on the exploded views of the MX450 manual unless I'm just not seeing them. They come with the aluminum center hub /w bearings...

Four 4.5x3mm Washers

...also...

What hex wrench size do I need for those screws that go into the bearings for the seesaw mounting? The smallest I have around is 1.5mm and that's still too big.

Not sure, as I have yet to get the ball bearing hub. The only thing I can think of is that the washers go between the seesaw and the hub bearings.

I saw a mention of that (putting the washer between the seesaw + bearings) on another forum or site so that's what I did.

I'm finished at this point putting the new head together. So many small parts. My eyes hurt now.
