The deal is not too bad, he's asking $150 but it comes with a bunch of extras and if i got it i wouldnt pay that, only if he wants to trade, or I'll go for the plus if I'm paying

Not that bad since the paint alone is $50 and the AB sells new for $137ish

If i trade then its a go

Not sure how much the paint is, or what kind, but I've seen the AB for cheaper on eBay. Might be able to find even better deals with a little searching. If you can do a trade, it might be a good deal. If not, I would keep looking.

That came out pretty good. Adding stickers will help too. Just don't go overboard.
Nice job!

First attempt at painting a canopy. My garage sale Trex600esp

The colors are:

Main color: 2007 Chrysler Inferno Red
Shadowing: 2004 Scion Burdeaux Black Cherry
Green: Custom Porto Lime Green
Clear: DuPont NASON 498 Automotive
Shot with a SATAJet 200 HVLP with 20psi for clear, less for other colors.

My camera phone pictures don't show the flake in the red and black cherry, but they really pop in the sun. Because of neuropathy, I dropped my good camera, and don't have a new one yet...These will have to do.

Default So here is my day off paint job

I just love how the paint comes out on a big bird, but when you have and fly the micro's it get's a little harder to paint them. Spray paint is out of the question since I live in an apartment. Yes I am almost 63 years old and the pic's below is what I did Free Hand on my mcpx bl. It is not my best work but when you fly these little monsters at full speed, who in the hell is going to judge your paint !! . Duck and Duck Fast !!!.

Hi,
Here's my latest creation. The canopy is for my F3C machine. Quite happy with how it turned out. Paint is Createx Wicked Detail colours which are water based. Colours are white, Pearl red, Black, Silver and Charcoal Viola. 2k clear over the top with no issues. Needs the right angle for the colours to pop.

Cheers
Brendan

Now thats a work of art. You are really talented with an airbrush. There are lots of really cool paint jobs out there but that one just stands out to me personally.

I can only dream of painting a canopy even half as beautiful as the paint jobs i have seen you guys do on this site.

+1
The shading/shadowing is outstanding - looks like you could take your thumbnail and peel back the layers! But it's the artist's vision that's just killin me.
