Just finished playing with Valspar Plastic Paint. For first time paint job, I think it looks AWSOME! What do you think? Does not appear to have affected the flight aspect though.
Have training pants on right now for safety sake!Click image for larger version

Nice job on the fading. I bet it will be way easier to orient with it in front of a dark background. I always turn to paint when I need a hop-up but don't wanna spend any money. Good job!

I have been wanting to paint mine but I have read several posts on here about the paint flaking off pretty quickly from the tail pieces. I would like to know how yours holds up.

if you get paint that is made for plastic it should not fall off, some paint actually bonds to plastic. i painted mine, its coming off the canopy when i crash but the tail finis still look nice. and i used regular paint.

Scuff up the area you are going to paint with a brillo pad or something first, it will help the paint stick and stay better. Used to do this when I raced 1/10 scale oval.
