Where to buy Pyro Competition?

Just curious as to where we can buy Pyro Competition motors in the USA. I've looked at the websites of different Kontronik dealers and they all sell regular Pyro motors, but no Comp.

I am also looking for competition motors
I found a couple I websites oversea in Europe
Trying to find someplace more local easier to deal with
Hopefully you will have better luck trying to locate these motor
Cost is not really an issue for me

Fast Lad sells competition motors. You need to register to see the prices less UK tax...they quite attractive. Oh and the fastest online hobby shop I can think of. Parcel one checked out normally arrives in 3 days.

HeliDirect just placed an order with KON for the following Pyro Comp motors.

Kontronik is on Holiday until 14 Jan, and of course we do not know what Kontronik has in stock at this time for Comp motors...but hopefully if the stars line up correctly we will have these motors in around the 1st week of Feb, hopefully sooner...

BTW...these will be generic Competition Motors, they will not have any "custom" engraving like "HeliDirect Edition" or other names. We can special order the Competition Motor with your choice of custom engraving. Like your name or heli, etc.

This would be the time to call in and set up a special order with your custom engraving as we can place on this Order with Kontronik Germany. If interested, please call HeliDirect and speak with Larry, Jody or myself about setting up a special order.

If you are interested please do contact us ASAP as once KON is back in on the 14th they will start processing our order. Then we will not be able to modify it and any special orders would have to wait until our next order.

Man one of these motors would be AWESOME with custom engraving!
James, I was lead to believe that the 850-50 motors were handwound anyway because of their size.
The difference can't be that much?

From what I've read about these motors they sound pretty amazing
I would like to get my hands on a couple of them to install and my goblin helicopters
Just seems like they're very hard to get for some reason

The Competition series are a little pricey...the 850 Comp I am guessing will be in the $850.00 range.

You are definitely buying quality and performance with that motor the price is well worth it to me
I will be installing one in my 770 competition and also in my 700 competition line they are both already running on 14s so it should work out perfectly
