Default High pitched whine?

I've noticed this on my hoopty bird that I recently put a Microheli frame on. This thing flies like its on rails, no problems at all, no vibes, etc but I'm noticiing a high pitched whine, different from the sound of my HP08 in it. All bearings, motor, etc have been oiled.

Anyone ever see this with a MH frame build (is it normal)? I did have to add shims, 6 iirc to limit up and down play. Do too many shims cause a noise like this?

The other 130x doesnt have this noise other than the different characteristic whine of the HP08 doing its thing. That is, when I'm not messing up by taking chances, i.e. inverted outside of my comfort zone

Is it the main gear mesh with the pinion? Or a A/B/C/D mesh too tight or TT rubbing.

Are you talking about the tail whine when pushing it hard during certain flight? Mainly during sideways flight like fast, aggressive funnels. This is with the stock frame.

My X2 does the same thing.

nope, pretty much any flying, slow, fast, loops, etc. It does have metal a/b, maybe I have too many shims on it. c/d are kept stock for point-of-failure

If you think it's a gear whine, pull off all the blades and spool up. If needed, you can work backward to find it.

It happens predominantly on positive pitch maneuvers, its the left tail case bearing taking all the load. It helps to shim between the right side tail case bearing and the D gear. doing that with a metal tail case will help more too.
