Brought one home today, unpacked it and flew 10 batteries worth. Love this heli, my favorite Blade so far. I did break landing gear on first crash though, replaced it with an old msr set, then broke that one too. Now I borrowed one from my mcx, lets see if I can break that set.....

Oh yeah, nice job on the paper canopy...

I Recieved my Nine Eagles Bravo SX Hughes 500 fuselage for it today. Unfortunately, the 500 style skids are too long and wont be a direct fit. The fuselage looks plausible, but maybe tougher job than I thought.
I think if I want to fly one of these Hughes, I might go with HeliMaxes newest flybarless bird with their own Hughes 500 on it.

Broke a skid futzing with the D/R... think I'll go the route I followed with the msrx: less expo is good.

Bound it to my dx5 and flew a few batteries. It's not bad, flies OK but It really makes me appreciate my 8.

We were just talking about this at our last meet. Let us know how it goes if you do go through it.

I was having similar issues. Mine would not bind At all to my dx7s. My issue was with firmware. Updated to latest version and bound with no problems. You might check your firmware version amd see if your running latest version. It worked for me.

Do you have a real good leaf blower? I saw that happen to a plane once. I can confirm a paintball gun will not get it down.

Borrowed my neighbor's ladder and retrieved mine from the top of my roof. Almost 19 years in this house and first time I had occasion to climb to the peak of the roof. Glad I live in a one story house.

Lol. I hit the TH before it went into the tree. Spun it up once I spotted it and luckily it fell down.

Took it out and put a couple batteries through it..so much easier to fly than my mcpx. Crashed once in the grass, but landed it clean a few times.

I fitted a Bravo SX Hughes 500 body on it! It was almost a direct fit with very, very slight mods. It flies well, and weighs only 0.2 oz heavier than stock. Flight times nominal!

Didn't have time to fly my Nano. I use boxes for coins to put my MSR, MSRX, and Nano into and then they can go in a tool box with and my tools, parts and chargers. The plastic boxes are PCGS slab boxes and fit the helis really nice when you add a little foam block. Took these pics and then forgot to take pics of my new Nano out of the box. LOL

Nice varc . What mods did you have to do?

I just flew all my birds. Was nice to fly all three at night.

The only mods I had to do, if you even call them mods was to drill out the top hole for fitting the NCPX's body-post inside. Standard hole was too small. I also had to shave the inside part of that hole flat, call it the spacing. Had to shave the spacing so that the body will fit closer to the helicopter. I also had to cut out a hole on the bottom of the body where the bubble meets the tail. This allowed the tail-boom to stick out and line-up better. I tried to fit the tail-boom inside the fuselage, but it didn't work that way. The tail-blade would hit the tail-fins and the body didn't line up.
I also had to pinch the skids a bit so that the rear peg would fit inside the NCPX's hole.

I was actually surprised how simple it was to do. And, I'm pleased at how well it flies!

Now I'm thinking of some sort of nav-lights for it. But the TinyBrightLights are too big and their rectangular shaped LED's would not look right. Wonder if I can get some fiber-optic lighting for this thing! LOL!

(last night)..............first inverted hover!

Also, had to get it out of a tree about 15 feet up. Finally busted the canopy, fixed with scotch tape.
