I'll be following this thread with great interest. I ordered the RJX 810s from HD as well and got them yesterday, albeit with a minor chip on the outer coating of one of the blades at the very tip. I sent photos to HD and they said they were fine and I could fly with them (???). I'm planning on 1350 rpm.

and ya a small chip at the tip will be just fine, as long as you dont see the blade pealing apart honestly I will never buy another set of edge blades, all the tail blades I got from them junk, the main blades I got were 3mm out of cog and vibrated badly. Trust me tho it was hard not to buy them as that is what are being used on the logo

I can't speak as to how they compare with the 710 radix blades, but they do seem to have a bit more flex to them than the stock Align 700mm F3C blades I am running right now.

Hey, I didn't say it but I'm sorry about your crash too. It's never good when you have to fix, rebuild or rekit. Been there way too many times. I've said a few times that's it, I'm done with this F£¥€*$G hobby! But here we are, back at it.
I crashed my 700N about a minute into a rebuild attempting a flip in normal mode. Talk about feeling stupid! NONE of my electrics have a conventional normal mode for that reason. Good luck with the repair!

If these things get much bigger you'll seriously have to start thinking about rigging a seat in there so you can fly it to the grocery store.

I read about an incident involving 813's and 120's over on RR. I don't know if the 3mm made the difference or not.

Whoa, the collision happened with 115's. The post with pics appears about half way down.

Maybe we should start an official "Trex 800 Upgrade Kit" thread. It is looking like this "conversion" is not going to be as easy as installing the boom and throwing on some larger blades.

Might even want to make it a sticky. One of the posters "over there" said that 790-795's might be the ticket.

I have been trying to alert pilots looking to try this conversion kit to be watchful concerning blade clearance when using the ALIGN 800 conversion kit.
I guess ALIGNs idea of an 800 is a bit different than mine, I can turn 120 tail blades and never think about the mains interfering...

Well, it's not really an 800. No more than the Logo 600 SE is a 700. Can't use longer than 695's on it either. What the 700 stretch kit does is allow you to get a feel for what an 800 flys like. Personally, for $40 I think it's a deal. I bought the 700E because I wanted an E 700 that was purposes as such from conception.
