Big lama and DX6i

I want to set my big lama up with my dx6i i have a specktrum reciver to pair it to, but i have herd things about problems with the rudder input.

Does anyone have a guide on how to set it up or a spec sheet for the DX6i settings?

Sorry its so long in replying but hadn't seen your post. Hopefully you have found some setting by now but if you haven't then maybe these will help. Not sure how good they are as I've not finished my convetion yet.

I have a big lama I am attempting to setup to a dx6i. I am an old school rc guy, raced 10/th scale n Fl, but not long... I know my parts pieces, but am still at a loss on this thing. I put the reciever i got w my dx6 and set it up acro and heli....used the above setup and have no rudder control at all. Do i need a gyro w this 4-1 and or ? Or am I doing summin stupid....

I am still not figuring this thing out. Iv tried rudder in Aux/Gear/Rudder channels. It will fly at least in gear, but no rudder.... Please help. I know theres a fix w the rudder control lead on the plug from 4-1, but dont know procedure.

On 'SETUP LIST'

Set MODEL TYPE to 'Acro'

MODEL NAME - set as you wish

D/R COMBI = D/R SWITCH: ELEV

TIMER (I set) DOWN TIMER-08:00 SWITCH---THR CUT (but your choice here)

D/R&EXPO
Pos '0' AILE 85% - 20%; ELEV 85% - 20%, RUDD 100% INH
Pos '1' AILE 85% + 10%; ELEV 85% + 10%, RUDD 100% INH

TRAVEL ADJUST
All 100%

SUB TRIM = ZERO All

GYRO = 50% (Not used in the BL)

PITC CUR (Not used - just leave it)

SWASH MIX = INHIBIT

Flaps all Zero

MIX 1
RUDD -> Flap ACT; RATE D +100.0%; U +100.0%, SW ON; TRIM INH

MIX 2 = INHIBIT

REVO MIX all 0.0%


Connections......
* Throttle goes to Rx throttle.
* Aileron to Aileron.
* Elev to Elev.
* Rudder to Aux.
