logo480 rpm
What rpm you guy's flying your 480 at?Or what head speed is optimal for the best fight performance? Just asking for opinions.

2600rpm is the sweet spot for me

I run 1900, 2100, and 2300.
Its an awesome machine with lower head speeds.

What motor are you guys running for 2600? The only way you could do it with stock motor is Mod .7 pinion and gear... I'm thinking of switching to Pyro 600 but haven't decided yet. Going to run stock for a while.

What is the stock HS with the stock combo and the YGE at 100%? That's where mine is but I don't even know the HS.

2700 at hover but will bog to 2200 without governor.
I recommend going YGE gov mode. Not no gov.

I've ran it as high as 2900 and as low as 2000. The amazing thing about this heli is it flies so well at all ends of the spektrum. I find 2200-2400 to be the perfect balance of awesome smackability and good flight times. 5-6 min of 3D at those HS's is awesome.
