yes, standard servos are used (have been used in testing, but it is also designed to use servos like 9650's, ect.

AUW with full size servos, and a 611 gyro, came to 6.8lbs tonight

I have been a gas planker for a long time and have stayed away from electrics. I am trying to learn as much as I can before making this large of an investment. It will probably be years before I can 3D, so am i going to look forward to spending 2 to 300.00 every couple of months if I decide to with the T600?

At times I'd like to see an average 3D flyer flying a heli. About what I'd expect, collective management looked good. If someone's flipping without going to far from were initiated he done well. Crash can hapen to most anyone if their pushing their personal limits to improve (Saw many top flyers go in also)

So JD, what if Finless gets a free chopper/stuff once in a while to build and show us noobs how to do it.

It gains and supports the hobby and get more people in to helis. I cannot see that from getting a better and bigger marked for the manufacturer, they will keep on building better and better kits for us.

Finless does a great deal for the whole community, R&D and it will come down to gain us all in the end.

Free stuff, yes please, its our hobby and to get some goddies....

Maybe you have to pay for it all, and it hurts too much to see others get some goodies you also would like. There is a name for that... eh forget it

Stay off Finless, hes hurt enough from RunRyder.....

If it wasn't for Finless, I would not be joining this sport this fast again, If it wasn't for us needing and asking for help, Finless wouldn't ber her! I gave up 15 years ago with a 50 nitro, so I know what I'm talking about.

By the way, ordered my new kit today.

450SE NEW V2, 401/9650, HS56MG's, DX7, 6100 v1.2 + 2xFlightPower LiPo 11.1V 2500 mAh Evolite3S and the Align full size case and a bunch of spares/tools to a total of $1550 thanks to FINLESS vids and this forum.

Again Finless: Thanks for excisting and all the adivices!

Hey Bob.

Nothing dangerous, just a feedback to this post i found today :

JD wrote:
Just a couple of observations:

1) That is NOT average flying and as someone else mentioned he does show very good collective management which can especially be seen with his stationary forward flips.

2) The frame was broken in two places from what i can see. If you look at the vid its broken at the front and in the back as well. I dont believe that it happened in another crash. Why would he not fix it from the previous crash?

At any rate it does look like 6S2P will fly this bird fairly well for an "Average" pilot like myself but again the question is not if it will fly it. The question is how long the packs will last flying it like this with this number of cells.

Sorry Bob, but i call BS also. there are still some of us that know BS and marketing slant when we see it. Your stuff loses credibilty and becomes biased when you are hanging out with dealers / distributors and getting free stuff for reviews and opinions.

Not trying to start a flame war but just calling it as i see it.

Probably long time ago, and forgoten.
Just ment it good in You're favour....

Well the CF ones can break and the ali frames can bend. I crashed my 600 for the first time a few weeks ago and it broke my CF frames. I have seen folks crash the ali frames and bent the hell out of them. All up it seems the CF frames farew better as more often than not I have seen the ali frames bend rather than the CF break.

Here is what I would do. I would get the ali frames and if you bend them in a crash get Rotorworkz G10 frames as a replacement. I have yet to see a set of those break in a crash.

come on guys give bob a break, what a great job he does helping people with builds and problems, without his generous help my new metal gear servo's in my blade 400 would still be all over the place, if the guy wants to help let him and if he gains some reward for doing it so what!.
thanks bob for your help and patience.
going nitro as electric takes too long to charge.
