Default HJ 120HV V11/ Scorp 4225-610 Failed Spoolup 8 blinks

Running a HJ 120HV V11 along with a Scorpion 4225-610 on 12S. Got a bout 6 flight so far. Yesterday, went to spool up on fuly charged packs and the ESC shutdown. 8 blinks coming from the unit.

Got home, resoldered most of the connectors, reset mode 1 and mode 4, and tried to spool up on the bench, same thing failed spoolup along with a fairly violent shake coming from the motor . Shook the heli. Thought it was the main gear and pinion binding, removed the tail and motor, thats all fine and OWB is smooth.

Not sure if the ESC is bad or the motor is crap, or both.

Help!

I would try a different motor and see what happens.

hooked up a 4025-1100 and it spooled up fine with a 6s pack. Maybe the motor is shot.

I'm telling you you need firmware v13. Mine did the same thing.

Just trying to help you out bud, I went round and round with mine for a month or more. It was frustrating. Greg is a good guy, he'll get you straightened out.
