Default Clutch liner

How to recognize that it's time to change clutch liner (PV0532-1)?

When i have heli idling on the ground it makes some metal-like noise. Hard to describe but it's very loud and definitely shouldn't be there. As i go into flight it just gets even worse but since heli is moving it doesn't feel it's loud (but in fact is louder than during idle). It's some metal like sound, clinging or rubbing.

I checked and clutch liner in the bell is all polished into mirror. I don't think it should be like that...

I am not sure what are you asking. Yes i think it might be any bearing in the engine or starter shaft. While i ordered starter shaft bearings for spare, getting engine bearings is going to be harder. Also... putting engine apart is... Weeell maybe over winter

when the liner goes, it sounds like a bell ringing. i threw 1 in the air, you learn the sound quick. and the power is falling to the blades, yet the engine rpm's are there
