Default GoLED Question

Is there any advantage to installing a GoLED. I currently have CPII installed, but did not mount the IR net router, it appears I need to hook up the router for the first flight to check weather parameters. Will the GoLED still be useful when I initialize the HD module.

The GoLED prevent you to go to the preflight menu before each flight to see if the wheather condition is OK. If the GoLED is green the weather is ok, if yellow it could be marginal, red don't use CoPilot

Default HD LED operation:

Hi Guys,

A little off the GoLED subject but though it might interest those who have or will be using the HD module. The drawing below illustrates the ON/Off sequence of the LED on the HD module.

Thanks for the info Jack. Does this only apply when the GoLED is in-line with the HD module.

the CPII Go LED connects in-line between the CPII Avionics computer and either the main or vertical sensor, and provides real-time weather indication at a glance using 3 high intensity SMT LEDs
I saw where the GoLED could go on either the main or the verticle sensor so was wondering if it would give a go/no go in-line with the HD module too.

Hi:

Like n6nev aluded, the HD Module is on a completely separate data buss. It does not plug into the buss for the sensors. It plugs in on the AUX port. Yes, GoLED still works normally even when HD Module is in operation.
