Just dealt/dealing with this. 3 owb's from align all locked within the first tank of gas. Tried light oil, grease, ATF, and dry -- Nothing worked. I just got the KDE OWB and put 5 tanks through it today and no lock at all on my owb.

OMG, I just went through my 5th OWB yesterday. All locked up within the first flight. Thank goodness there's a KDE part.

You wouldn't happen to have a link to the right kde bearing would you. ?
What all do I need to switch my stock trex 600n owb to the kde.?
Just the bearing .?
Thanks.

My 600n is new and only has 3 tanks run through it and no problems so far but would like to order another in advance as it seams lots of people have been having problems with the stock one. I don't like problems . Lol

I just replaced mine. Basically remove the bearing holder from the nylon gear. Pull out the sleeve that holds the trail drive gear. Put the bearing holder in a toaster oven for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees. When it's hot, use gloves to insert the sleeve in the bearing bottom (side with the writing around the edge) and twist it so it's tight and pull the bearing out. Insert the new bearing immediately. The writing on the bearing has to face the bottom of the helicopter.

I should clarify my post as I think I misunderstood the OP's intent. I was referring to the KDE owb housing not the bearing itself. Sorry about that.

Thanks didn't know they made a housing, but the bearing itself is working out nicely.

by looks of it on the kde website don't look like they make a housing for the 600? only the bearing. they have one for the 700n though. not sure if that will fit the 600 size or not?
