Default prop keeps falling off

How in the heck do you keep the spinner/prop attatched to the shaft on the motor?
I have a Fly Zone Extra 300 that I would love to Madden but can not get the prop to stay on. About 3/4 throttle the prop leaves the airplane. I can't get to the back of the prop to tighten it because of the cowl. Do you guys use green Locktight or some kind of contact cement?

does the spinner pop on or screw on, some have screws in center of spinner some just snap on..

Sorry for the confusion, it is the prop adapter that comes off taking the prop and spinner with it.

Oh, those work great when they work, and horrible when they don't.
you have to make sure its pushed all the way back on the motor. and hold the prop very good. and tighten that nut up. need a good Nut driver. i use a old Nitro glow plug wrench i have had from forever ago to tighten mine.

if it clamps down good then your set. You pretty much need to figure out a way to hold the motor to keep it from turning. i have put my fingers in the front of a cowl before to put my finger on the motor to keep from turning.

Thanks for replying! I will try your suggestions tomorrow

Try scuffing the motor shaft and inside of the collet with some sandpaper. I had an adapter that would come off until I tried the scuffing. Also, wipe the collet down with some alcohol/acetone to get rid of any oil from maching process.

You could also use some threadlock on only the motor shaft. Green works wonders.

Thanks for all of the tips guys! Sorry I have not gotten back to everyone sooner but have been very busy. I finally just tightened the holly heck out of it and cured the problem.
The only thing I am struggling with now is keeping it in the air LOL.
Takeoffs are a bitch! Two tries (both times I did manage to get it to "fly" for a few seconds) , guess I'm just use to taking off with my helicopters and going striate up. Oh well I do love a challenge. So far just a couple of props wasted.
