Default Heli failure, ZYX problem or other??

Tarot 450 ProV2 FBL, ZYX, Gyro, Hobbywing Platinum 40A ESC, Tarot motor, Hitec / Futaba digital servos, FS-TH9X - flysky reciiver

Been using this setup for about 150 fights with no major issues.

Went to the feild the other day and flew about 7 flights, all was well, on the 8th flight on spool-up the throttle stick was almost unresponsive, rpm came up a little but it varied a little on the low end while on the pad with no real stick reaction, kicked the stick up to see if it would react and when nothing happened decided to shut it down, just as i droped the throttle to zero the rpms kicked up a little and the heli hopped about 6 feet of the dirt and dropped back down to a rough landing.............

No electronics look fried or were hot at the time.
The battery for the flight was good, and the battery in the TX is good.
Now on the bench the throttle now seens responsive.
TX works fine with sim.

ESC, ZYX, RX, problem, any thought on this?

Never seen this behavior befor, any ideas?

This can't be the ZYX, since it has nothing to do with the throttle signal. Either ESC or Rx problem. Try to replicate on the bench, check all wiring and connectors.

Got any nicks in your wire leads, particularly the ESC to RX lead causing shorts? Try re calibrating your throttle range maybe? Got a spare ESC or motor to swap and see if you can isolate the problem to the motor, ESC, or RX?
