fried jr 3500 motor

So I was flying early last Saturday mourning , and was coming in to land . I meant to hit normal mode switch ,but hit throttle hold instead . As Mr homer Simpson would say - doh !
But I turned the throttle hold back on but the helicopter kept falling .
After checking everything and putting in a new esc , turns out it was the motor . It didn't last long . It looks like good quality , but was short lived . I hooked it up to my 450 pro and it spun up for a,few seconds then smoked like a chimney .
Ok well I had a hobbymate 3800 kv motor that I had used in the pro ,at a whopping 15 buck price tag , and the jr shaft fits the bearings . I drilled a hole in the bottom of the motor as it's short and slide the shaft in , reassembled and good to go , I adjusted the throttle curve on the tx , to the amount of pop I like . And it's flying nicely .
Same flight times it's actually a little power house of a motor and light .
Just though I share that there is one other motor option for the 450 forza
