Hope you fellows get airborn soon. The more I fly mine the more I like it.A fellow called the other day,He wanted to come over when we could go out and fly (he lives about 1.5hrs away). He has a couple other heli's but wanted to see the E640 fly.We went out and made a couple flights followed by Him coming back to shop and buying a E640 and gear.He was grinning ear to ear after watching it fly. They are a great heli that runs smooth and seems to be standing up great.Looking forward to hearing about your first flights. Take care
Going to be testing out the Hacker A50-10L Turnado shortly as they have arrived.Tight fit but I will let you know how it fit's and works.

That is great to hear Boomer It just seems to keep getting better with time .This has been the most trouble free heli heli i have had to date.Just charge a pack and fly day after day. What did you think of FBL so far? I sure do like my Skookum .

It was a bit weird at first but the fingers got acquainted with it and we adapted, I gotta say I was a bit weirded out by plugging a heli into a laptop to setup but I used the basic 3d setup from skookum and it was great. I brought the laptop to dial it in but never turned it on

And the might hacker 77 was performing fine.

Here are some actual pictures of the new canopy's.I did not mount one as they are the stores and I am running a N640 canopy presently .A new canopy when not needed seems to bring on a crash for myself !! It is very bright and a nice looking canopy.I would have to change the trim tape on my tail fin though.

Dennis do your Spyder packs both fit on batt tray? What are there dimensions. I have a cpl pulse 5s 4200 packs and they are long so only one fits on Tray and other underneath on the skid plate.

Karl is yours ready yet I'm gonna head out to ridge this weekend with mine.

Thx

Hello Kevin ,as for the Spyder packs they fit really well on the tray.I have 3 tray's and 3 set's of packs so I never remove them from the tray's.I bring my wires out the side of the frames to my series harness and plug them in.I have a EC5 up frt that takes the spark of connecting to the esc.I have been very happy with these packs. Take care

Mine is ready now, but wont be able to fly it this weekend. Life has got in the way.

Hopefully next weekend I'll have the time.

Default First flight with BeastX...now I love this helicopter.

After playing around with a couple of low end FBL controllers , I finally got the BeastX installed. Now its very locked-in, stable, and at the same time responsive. This helicopter flies great. Completely above the B450x.

Through this whole experiences, I've re-learned a lesson: Sticking with quality components will save you money.

Couple more trouble free flights tonight waiting on a few packs from Dennis
I run a 2s a123 up in the nose under the esc so they may not fit on the tray but I may move the a123 pack to help out.

This heli is a keeper

I did the maiden flight yesterday on my E640. What an amazing machine! Everything just worked perfect out of the box. I had to reduce the tail gain just a little, but other than that, it's perfect.

What really impressed me is the lack of sound from the heli. Without barking the blades, I would say it's not much louder than my Blade 450.

my only complaint and its not a big deal is that the packs i have i cant fit both on tray so i put one underneath, it works good that way though
