Default battery charger choice

Since I'm now assembling a small fleet of heli I need to get a charger to do multiple lipo's and not limit myself in the future $100-125 ac/dc recommendations?

If you're looking for a charger that does both AC and DC in that price range, you're kind of limited.

This Hitec would do for a while. You can get more power out of it if you set it up with a DC power supply. Get a server supply and go for it.

Turnigy from HobbyKing probably has something, but I'm not as familiar with their products.

You'll find as you grow in this hobby that you'll eventually want more power and move to a larger setup. I started with an iCharger 106B which worked for a while, but as my helis grew, I moved to bigger and bigger chargers. Now I have an iCharger 308 Duo with a 24V 1200W PS. It's great. I still have a small Hitec X1 at my work desk for micro charging at work for lunch flying.

After a HiTec charger where the voltage was off on one cell, I will never buy a charger that I cannot calibrate. I now use an iCharger 308Duo.
