Default wow... X50E price is dropping

So, I thought I was lucky to snatch the X50E from Tower Hobbies for $499.99 from previous original price of $524.99. I even got less $30 for their monthly coupon save thingy. Ended up just paying $475 plus shipping to Canada.

I just checked their price today and was surprised to see that the kit price even went lower. It is now just $459.99 LESS $30 for any purchase of more than $250.

I guess not much people are buying them. Supply and demand thing. Which is somehow good for us....KNOCK ON WOOD...if ever I crash my X50E and too much parts are needed to be replaced, it is much more practical to buy a new kit which is much cheaper now .

Downside, you can't get even half of the new price now if you are going to sell the heli.

This is a very reasonable price for this helicopter! It needs to be lower to compete with the WalMart of helis..."Align " lol!!

I should be getting my kit today and look forward to the build and first flight.

True. They need to lower the price more to compete with Align. I hope more people will notice it. It is one tight heli. You'll enjoy the build as well as flying it!

Good luck and keep us posted.

Well, I just jinxed myself with my original post. Crashed my X50E while trying a new maneuver today that is new to me. Went down tail in. Man, that plastic canopy will explode upon contact, lol. It is beautiful, but very fragile. wiped out my tail boom, boom support, landing gear, TT, Blades. etc. The frames are intact though. Electronics are good except my BeastX. That main rotor head and one blade grip is slightly bent as well. It's almost a complete re-kit just like what I posted. Still checking out what more can I salvage.

Just when I was thinking of getting the new T700, Bummer. There goes my funds.

Well, re-kit is no longer an option. Tower Hobbies just jacked up the price of the kit to $529.99. Lucky for those people who got it for $459.99 less $30.

I am thinking of just selling the parts that are still usable.
