Problem with motor

Hello,

This is not for me but for a big friend of mine!
He have the plane that you can see in youtube, but every time he tries land and reduces the throttle, if he needs a little more power the motor turn off, and that's a crash!
Any suggestion?

What motor is it?

Have you broken the motor in yet?

Have you adjusted the HS needle yet?

Have you done a "pinch" test?

Have you adjusted the LS/idle needle yet?
