Default KDS 4725-540KV motor setting in ESC

Hey all, I just finished my Agile 7.2 build however on spool up the motor was cutting in and out above 70% throttle. I played around with the PWM setting and timing in the ESC. I was able to resolve the issue with a PWM of 8Khz and timing of 12 degs. I unfortunately do not have a 10 deg setting in my ESC. I'm sure there are other combinations that also work. What have you guys been running for best results...flight times, motor and ESC temps?

Thx man. Yeah we are almost on opposite ends with the settings. I will have to give yours a try. Btw....I posted another thread about a broken spiral front tail drive gear. The plastic one that is above the main gear. Have you experienced any failures with yours?

no I have not experienced that with that gear, do you think that maybe you over tighten the screws down a little bit developed a stress crack in overtime and could have warm? it didn't break because of a crash or anything like that was it

No crash or anything. That is a thought about over tightening the screws. Just was weird for it to happen.

YEP start @ 18deg for outrunner motors much higher than normal check in the YGE instructions and maybe ask in the YGE section of forum. I'm using that motor but just selected auto timing and works great for me.
