Strobe
I see several posts on adding a strobe to helicopters. They use a control board. I have seen several white blinking LED's online. It seems to me that with the proper resistor you could tap power off the balance plug of your battery for 4.2 to 3.8 volts. This would seem to be the simple way to add strobes. 1 LED, 1 resistor, wire and a plug/tap into the balance adapter.
Has anyone done this? Can you recommend a circuit and the brightest strobe? Light emitting angle may come into play to as I would mount it on the bottom I think

You could just tape one of these onto the bottom and wire to anywhere up to a 6S pack directly. I'd say fills the bill for 'brightest', lol. Many programmable patterns also.
