I had a Shogun with a torque tube tail and I kept breaking the driveshaft and stripping tail gears. I figure torque tubes are for guys that fly better than me and NEVER touch the tail blades on the ground. It's kinda funny because back then all of us with Shoguns were swapping them over to belt drive, now everyone wants torque tubes!!! The tail authority is great if you can keep the tail together!!!

ya, to be hornest I prefer the belt drive for less problem and easier to work on. The TT would fly better interms of rudder control but as I crash a lot the belt do take a lot more punishment. LOL
