It's up to you! I just recently flew my two newly converted helis (Vbar) and I cannot be happier! I am giggling like a school girl at how good my helis fly now... but I WAS going to wait for the SK720.. but recently realized it was going to cut into my flight time since I live in MN and the season starts right about now... got 9 flights in this weekend... so I just could not wait.

NOW... if the 720 is as good as it sounds.. I will be selling my Mikados (at a loss) and get the 720! I LOVE my Mikados so far.. but I have no brand loyalty!

Price has not been set yet. Art tells us that it will be "competitive." Because there is no conversion from dollars to euros, we ought to be able to save at least that much.

The SK720 will do everything the V-Bar does and more.

How long do you want to wait?

Rick

I have the draft manual, and based on conversations with Art, the SK720 will do everything the V-Bar does and more.

How long do you want to wait?

This is February 23, so March may be optimistic. IMO, it will be worth the wait. It will do everything the V-Bar does and more.

He already has a list of upgrades for the next firmware release.

Sounds like you have some inside info, How would you rate this against HeliCommand Ridgid

Also how many channels do you need to fully use this new system

Thanks,

FCA

(1) They are completely different. HeliCommand relies on optical input. The FBL units are three-axis gyros with accelerometers. I have no experience with HeliCommand.

(2) Fully use? 7 channels. I suspect that you can "bail out" with 6. I have a DX7.

Rick why do you use your receiver, and not only the satellite and by one satellite more?
So you have 7 channes, with dx7 you can not use all 10 channels.

for bailout you only need to change the bank to a bank with bailout.
with receiver you need 6 channels (pitch/roll/nick/geer/bank with SK720) and one for ESC

I don't understand.
I don't need 10 channels.
