Kontronik USA is going to be flashing FW updates in the future. Not sure when this will start but I believe they said $20

And now the esc won't spool up at all. Keep getting 3 blinks.

Well, this combo has taken a turn for the worse, as KTMheli has posted it refused to boot at all eventually, although the 100LV will boot normally with any other motor. Scorpion send him another motor and this has exactly the same problem. Strange thing is that ANY OTHER MOTOR, including Scorpion single wire winds will work perfectly with the 100LV Jive ESC.

Eventually tried a Jive 80HV on the 4020 Scorpion and it boots perfectly every time BUT EVEN THOUGH KSA mode is programmed it will not give the telephone ring tone. The KSA mode ring tone does come up with ANY OTHER motor, but not with the two 4020 examples he has.

Now do we send in the perfectly working 100LV (ver13) or is this purely a case of Kontronik being to careful with the motor check on plug in?

Hmmm, maybe I should reconsider my plan of 4020-1350/Jive120Hv.

I was picking it over the Quantum because in the past Jive hasn't played nice with 8 pole motors.
Come to think of it though those cases were Scorp's as well.

the new scorps are 10p? the older are 8p

my "older" 4025 is 8p which is bad when you set sensor divider to 5 in your gov config *whistels* bad... but fun...

Thanks Vinger

Flew the Heli today on the 80hv with v9 and all seemed okay. I did notice that the 80hv got very warm which is unusual, no place to fit the heat sink

Wish I had a solution for this combo as it works great loving the 1350 at 2850 RPM

Had same arming problem with 2 scorpion 4020-1350 not arming with my version 13 jive 100lv. I switched to the quantum 4120-1200 and no problems. I could get 1st 1350 to arm sometimes if I spin the motor by hand. Didn't try mode 10. Second 1350 only didn't arm once outta 12 times but decided once was enough and went quantum. Scorpion was great in flight once armed but didn't wanna risk shut down, Happy with the jive the gov is great and sound on spool up is very smooth. Easiest esc I've programmed and runs cool in my G500 without heat sink (no room)

I have just ordered the JIVE 100LV version 9. The big idea is to couple it with the HK4020-1350. From what I have gathered so far, I am very worried that when it arrives and I test it, it won't arm.

Anyone has any issues with the above so far? Is version 9 ok?
