You're lucky to have a nice paved, drive up area to fly from. Looks like a housing development that didn't pan out.

Yeah its a very nice place to fly for sure.Theres only 7 of us that knows about that spot so I really like it because its only 10 mins or so from my house. Its a industrial complex and from what im told by the owner, the field has been there for years and noone go's back there other than a few shop workers to smoke as the shops are non smoking.

Ditch the prone-to-failure align regulator and put something other in there.
Get the carbonfiber tail fin.

And for gods sake get the carbonsim canopy. Raptors just can't fly without that

Also stop playing with nitro engines and get a HZ. You know you want to .

I fixed the Align 2-1 already because the switch failed the 5th flight I think,no crash because I noticed it on the ground.Once I use up the other 4 stock fins i'll put my CF one on it haha and I have a new fiberglass canopy but it needs painted. That HZ would be awesome but I screwed up and bought a OS 91SZ .Its pretty much the same as my OS 91SX but the SZ has .3 more HP I think .I have a Cline carb (SZ carb) with Viperhead on the C-Spec im taking off and putting on the 91SZ once I tap the back plate for the pressure nipple. The next motor might be a YS 91SR long stroke .

Here is my raptor 90 .

Got a killer deal on it 300 $ what do you think , never been flown, full metal head, mavrikk carbon blades, carbon frame.

You can see the massiveness of this bird compared too my little eflite SR

Its not ready too fly yet, still need too put in an engine, plus gyro and i am missing a couple servos.

I was wondering i have 4 spektrum high torque servos but they arent listed as high speed could i use them in my raptor ? They are DS821 digital servos.

Do not use the 821's in a large heli. The shafts will fail and that great deal you got will be no more. Spektrum only rates them for up to 30 size heli's and I wouldn't even do that. They are great plank servo's and people will buy them quickly if you list them in the classifieds on RC Groups.
