450 Trex 3gx v2.1 spins when starting up. Help!!!
I have programmed my 450 Trex with 3GX v2.1 software. When I turn on the radio, then plug in the battery, it initializes just fine. I get 2 green lights and it does the beep, beep sound. However, once I give it throttle it starts acting weird, moving one direction slowly, then I try to compensate with the rudder stick, it helps a bit but as I increase the throttle more it starts to get more aggresive and starts spinning. Its as thought the gyro is not kicking in. I did reprogram the rudder and it works fine on the bench when you move it left and right. I have a DX7 Spektrum transmitter. I set Aux2 to gyro. In the Gyro Sensing screen I have Rate:
0: 55% 1: 60% Also, on the 3GX module both setting are at 50%. How do I stop the spinning action? Not sure how to get into the Head Hold Mod. Am I missing something in the setup? Would appreciate any help. Timeflyer |

Tail gyro setup, correction direction is backwards.
If the light's green, make it red (or vice versa) When you push the tail on the bench, the leading edge of the blades should try and point in the opposite direction.

JoeW, you were spot on. Thank you so much for your help. I just hovered for the first time. It's awesome. I do need to set some expo as it is a bit sensitive to the controls. However, the wind is up so I will wait until tomorrow morning to fine tune and smooth it out.
Take care and thanks again, Julius |
