Default My 600SE rotor head

So I have been building my 600SE and was looking at the Xxtreme machines. I noticed their awesome rotor heads and thought it would be great to have one on the 600. Problem is the Xxtreme head is way too big. So, I started building my own to just replace the blade grips and head block. It’s a little heavier than the stock setup but not by much. It has turned out better than I thought and so I just wanted to share a few photos.

OK, as much as I would love to produce some of these rotor heads for the few that would want one, I'm afraid I just don't have the time to make more. I first only started the blade grips because the original ones used 4mm bolts for the blades and I feel the over sized blades should use 5mm bolts. So, instead of drilling out the original grips, I built my own. And the pictures tell the rest of the story.

Oh, here are the pics of the finished rotor head. Now I just need to finis installing all the radio gear. Should be air worthy in a few days, that is if the world doesn't end!

Finally got my first flights on my 600 today. Wow, what a smooth, powerful and stable machine. I am glad I got this bird flying instead of selling it off. What a great first electric and Flybarless heli. I'm sold on both now.

Later,
T.J.
