Default "Send to" issue... Win 8.1. CAN'T SEE BUTTON!

Anyone else have this issue? No matter what I cannot see the "send to gyro" button... I see enough of it to click it though. I've tried everything including changing my screen resolutions etc. Is this a Win 8.1 thing?

Check the system DPI setting, AFAIK if it is more than 100% you will not be able to see the buttons.

Jeti software has the same issue, they did not design it to re-size window properly.

Not just Windows 8. I reported the same issue and posted up images right when the update came out and I'm running windows 7 home premium.

Mine will always open tiny despite the setting to maximum, and requires me to manually drag the box open. I can do alittle better than you and see the top edge border of the button only. Previous version were fine.

It doesn't seem to be instant... like every time I move the sliders etc... was always unsure if it send or not so I clicked it after every change. I can see enough of it to click, but people new to Skookum won't see it.

I just found out something last night regarding to the Send button in v4.02.

Go to Preferences --> Send Setup by --> Send Button.

Give it a try; Send Setup (F1) button should appear in the lower left hand corner.

We know that, and that isn't the problem being discussed here. The issue is that for some of us, the software doesn't open up wide enough to see all or any of the button once activated. See the image and comments in post # 3

Got it. Have you tried this:

Control Panel --> All control Panel Items --> Display. Then "Change the size of all items" ? I am using Smaller - 100% (default).

I've never changed any of my display settings, but I'll take another look just in case. The prior versions of software were fine, but maybe this one needs something different. My display is the normal 100% settings, but I'll play around in the control panel and see if anything changes.

I do not have to change the display in my Win 8 and Win 7. Both works fine, maybe just my luck.

Its a bug. No one should have to change anything in their PC settings to get the button to show. I'll email Art.

It has been fixed in version 4.05 of the GUI/Firmware/etc that is currently in beta testing. The last niggling little bugs that beta testers are finding are being worked out as of this writing. The new version should be released... maņana.

V4.02 is the latest version of the UI. The latest gyro and LCD firmware version is v4.00.

Version v4.05 of everything is currently in beta testing and hasn't been released yet.
