Me too. Have to say though, as FInless might say, the cleanest bird I've ever seen.

Look what the mailman dropped in my mailbox today. If that ain't a genuine HK600-GT, lol. With a Turnigy 85 Amp ESC and some carbon main blades.
Erwin, get your big hammer out boy, you've got work to do ! There might be a build thread about this heli, we'll see if the both of us can turn it into a reliable flying bird at a low budget, now there's a challenge, I'd say. I just hope we don't end up with more Align parts than HK parts. On the other hand, I have 100% faith in Erwins building abilities. Just to put some pressure on your shoulders buddy.

Looks great Raf, the picture does it no justice for size, looks like a 450/500. Put those blades next to your 500's and you'll quickly get a "high" or freak out in fear - LOL.
IMO, the kit is worth it purely for the frame alone, among any other tiny bits. So far everything reported has been good, some have mentioned one batch of kits had offset main gears so they were useless, no biggie I guess... |

I'm absolutely terrified. LOL!
There we go, really throws some scare into folks. So far I only have the blades of my 600, after pulling them out of the box my tiny 500 blades fell back into the box, I thought "oh what are those small things, oh wait..."... lmfao |

Man, it's easy to forget just how big a 600/.50 size bird actually is.... the 250 made a great comparison! Expecting the usual Raffy lowdown on the GT's quality mate.

Hey Mike, How are you doing daddy? How's the little guy? When we going to see the newest Helifreak? I assume he's home now, sure you know you all are in all of our prayers.

Ouch Charlie!
Well it all went bad this afternoon! Was getting carried away with tick-tocks (well 2 ticks and 3 tocks). Then some loops, rolls, nose-in hover practise etc. Then up high I get the bright spark idea of trying some inverted hovering.....
Well it was well stuck in the mud and I'm looking at a bit of a strip down now to get all the crap out. All the shafts are shot, new boom, blades etc. required. Oh well, looks like it's going to be raining for a few days, so this will keep me busy! |
