Default Setting up the EXI 450 pro?

Yo guys. Need some help really quick. Currently I am building my own 450 rc heli, and its an EXI 450 pro. The electronics I have installed on there is the detrum kit, you know, the one that sella for $40 on xheli and includes 3 servos, motor, and gyro?

So here's how far I am. I've been waiting on my turnigy 9x to arrive so that I could setup the head and tail assembly (Trimming and leveling swash, etc).

So I received the tx and receiver and set everything up like its supposed to by following mikesrc instructions.

Here's my problem: I have no idea what type of settings I need in my tx to center my servos and Setup the head of my heli? Like how do I know that I have the right settings to setup the head without it bieng setup mechanically wrong? Also, what are the measurements of the linkages that have to be and how to do I center the swash for equal amounts of movements. I've done this before on my belt cp v2, but no experience with trex clones.

You first power up the servos and put the arms on as close to 90 as you can, and then use subtrim to get them perfect. If you are using to much subtrim try a different arm. I then use endpoints to get the servo travel equal for all 3 cyclic servos. Hobbypartz has some videos on their youtube channel that go through the whole build of the EXI 450 pro, including all the servo and linkage setup. hope i helped

Watch the finless bob videos on the 450 setup.

Quickly I can tell you this.

Use sub trim to 90 the servo arms to the main shaft at mid stick. Then using travel adjust level the swash at high and low stick.

This will get you started. Linkage length varies a lot. Watch the videos

Okay guys. I watched the video and it said to have the swash linkages at 30mm and the main linkages at 40.mm. they seem to be very small. I used a normal ruler on the mm side. is that correct?

Remember, those are starting lengths. You may need to adjust them.
