Thumbs up Battery fail safe on 12Z/G3...

It saved my Evo 50 about 2 minutes into a flight. I don't know why, but my nicad pack ran out of juice when it had just passed a load test and should have been good for at least another 2 flights. So, battery fail safe kicked in, cut the engine as it was programmed to do, and left me enough battery time (and not much more, < 1 minute) to complete an auto.

I can't say enough about this radio and am pleased to see that the battery failsafe is also incorporated into the 6014FS FASST receiver.

Yep battery failsafe has worked great for me a few times over the last 17 years of using Futaba radios. Just pull the throttle stick down or click throttle hold and you have control to land the heli for about 30-45 seconds.

Just a quck update....
The reason my nicads came up short was because the charger wire (the banana plug kind) failed. What a b***h of a thing to figure out, LOL.
